The Legal Services Department (LSD) at Families with Pets serves survivors of domestic violence and human trafficking in the practice areas of Family Law and Immigration.
LSD Attorneys provide free, trauma informed legal representation to clients of all genders in a supportive and judgment free environment. Our staff of expert attorneys and paralegal advocates have the highest regard for safety and confidentiality, and represent clients of all sexual orientations, racial, socioeconomic and educational backgrounds. The LSD serves clients in their preferred language in New York City. If we are not able to take a case, we will provide callers with referrals to our local partner agencies.
